BETH SHEEPLE

Beth Sheeple

Confused. Committed. Concerning.

Beth's becoming Karen faster than anyone in the family wants to admit — same fury, same certainty, just with better Wi-Fi. She runs the school's social justice club, or tries to, mostly by reposting things she half-understands and updating her pronouns on a rolling basis depending on the week.

She's got opinions for everyone whether they asked or not — corners pregnant women to make sure they know "there are other options," and somehow always ends up as the self-appointed "cool, understanding adult" whenever a kid in the neighborhood seems even a little unsure about anything. Parents have started keeping half an eye on her.

She absolutely adores Bob Rayshall, mostly because Bob is trans and that fact alone is enough to make Beth treat him like a celebrity.

Quinn thinks she's thoughtful. Karen thinks she's "finally getting it." Everyone else just gives her a wide berth.
