Karen watches the news every single day, religiously, like it's scripture — and whatever it tells her to be mad at, she's mad at it by lunchtime. Ask her *why*, though, and the wheels come off immediately. She can't explain it, can't defend it, can't even really restate it. What she *can* do is call you a few choice names and storm off before you finish the question.

She's not interested in being right. She's interested in being furious, and being furious has never once required being correct.
